I got this very same watch last week and I could not be happier with this.
At such price, you are getting an automatic mechanical watch from a reputable company (i.e.: Seiko). This watch comes with an ion plated (black) bracelet and bezel. It has a screw down crown as well as a neat feature called the map meter. Water resistance is rated at 200m but I would not use this watch for water sport activity anyway. It fits my small wrist of 6.5″ nicely and I am sure this watch will fit bigger wrist too.
This is not a light watch. It weights more than 200g and you can feel that the construction is solid.
The movement comes without manual winding and hacking function but the automatic winding is very efficient on this movement. Accuracy is about +8 secs a day.
As for the compass, I have no use for that as I don’t live in Northern nor Southern hemisphere.
My only complain is the plastic part near the crown and map meter… they just looks so cheap and I would prefer they use stainless steel for that portion anyway. If this watch comes in Titanium, I am sure it will appeal to more buyers.
