  • This is not my first casio watch. I had a similar analog-digital casio watch (bought it in 1997 for $54, can you imagine). The old one worked on its original factory-installed battery for 7 years. So I expect this one to run with its original battery for more than that.

Now, I really loved this watch for the following reasons:

    - light weigh

    - Three alarms are very good feature, esp. the snooz, it does help me get up in a good mood.

    - the bright white face makes it very easy to see the time even with no need to use its light.

    - I meant to buy the other Watch #WS300-7BV model with that normal hand adjuster, but I thought to myself; how often you need to set the time every year? only twice a year. So I went with this one because of the 30 telememo data bank, which I haven’t used it much until now, but planning to later.

    - The very nice feature about this watch is its relatively large LCD screen. it is much easier to read the date on the digital part, and the hands do not make the digital screen less readable.

    - unlike other reviews, I do like the rubber band, have no problem with it, it looks nice on my hand.

    The Not good features:

    - I agree about the illuminator, it is not that helpful

    - The crystal face: as this watch is on the low price, don’t expect the crystal face to be scratch resistance, it can get easily scratched, so use it wisely!!

In conlusion I highly recommend it. Good luck

The face is easy to read – day, date, and time. Lots of good features – alarms, etc. The band is comfortable, too. I’ve been looking for some time for an inexpensive, good quality, manly watch. This seems to be all of of the above. It is tough, too. I’ve been gardening and got it wet several times. The night light is weak but passable. Try it out if you are looking for the same type of watch.

  • This is the second watch that I have purchased recently. The first, a Casio Pathfinder (Fisherman’s Addition). I like the Pathfinder, however,It has a rather higher profile than does the World Time Database. That is the reason why I purchased (World Time Database Watch). This is the watch(World Time Database)I prefer over the Pathfinder for every day use….I do like both watches…..

  • Watch has very poor display in the night – Used watch for 2 years – the battery works but the watch stopped working.
